Study 2 - Take the strain out of an office move
An office move can be stressful for everyone, staff who do not have time to pack, managers who have more pressing priorities and human resources and facilities teams that are already over-stretched. When one of clients asked us to relocate them to new headquarters in north London, they also had to cope with the upheaval of moving their employees from a traditional workspace to a new open-plan environment that was very different from the one they were used to.
From the big picture to the smallest of details
Our challenge was to ensure that this move went as smoothly as possible for everyone involved, and that as a result, the new style of open-plan working would be received positively. As always, we took care of everything. Working alongside the Human Resources director, we co-ordinated and managed the whole process from preparing budgets, planning the space and physically relocating the whole company.
Here today, here tomorrow
Once the move was completed we also provided ongoing support to make sure
everyone had settled into his or her new workspace. Several years down
the line we are still on-site, providing facilities management services
such as cleaning, security & maintenance, and we have since moved another
division of the Company into their new headquarters.
